An extra toilet can be useful when a party would otherwise rely on limited household facilities. Start with the toilets guests can actually use and how long they will stay, rather than treating every party as needing hire.

When might it help?

A large gathering, an outdoor party or a house where the bathroom is awkward to reach may benefit from a separate toilet. It can also keep guest routes away from private rooms. Check whether the existing facilities are suitable before adding another unit.

Guest numbers alone do not settle the choice. Duration, food and drink, peak arrivals and accessibility all affect the plan. Use our event quantity guide to prepare an estimate, then review it for the actual party.

Where would the toilet go?

Choose a firm, level position with a safe route from the party. Keep it away from vehicle movements and avoid blocking paths or exits. Arrange lighting for the route after dark; the unit's internal light does not illuminate the garden.

A delivered unit needs suitable truck access. Send photos of narrow driveways, gates and overhead obstacles before booking. Get the property owner's permission and check any applicable local conditions.

Delivered unit or trailer?

Our event units arrive cleaned and stocked from a dedicated event fleet. They have a four-day minimum, with delivery and collection charged separately.

The trailer-mounted option is pickup only from Capalaba. Confirm a suitable vehicle and a safe position before choosing it. Its price and extra-day rate differ from the delivered event unit.

Who keeps it tidy during the party?

Nominate someone to check cleanliness and supplies. Short-term hire does not include ongoing servicing by default. For a longer booking or heavier use, discuss extra servicing before the event.

Frequently asked questions

Is a portable toilet necessary for every house party?
No. Assess the existing bathrooms, guest numbers, duration and access. Extra hire may help when the available facilities are limited or difficult for guests to reach.
Can the toilet go anywhere in the garden?
It needs a firm, level position, safe user access and suitable delivery or towing access. Confirm the location before booking and arrange lighting for the route.
