The total cost of hiring a portaloo depends on the unit, minimum period, delivery and any extra servicing. Start with the current portable toilet prices, then compare the complete quote for your dates and address.
Why the minimum hire matters
Our construction toilets have a 28-day minimum. A shorter building job still attracts that minimum charge. Fortnightly servicing is included, with weekly or extra visits charged separately.
Event toilets have a flat four-day minimum. The daily rate shown after that is an extra-day rate, not a number to multiply by four to recreate the minimum. Trailer-mounted toilets also have a four-day minimum but their own minimum price and extra-day rate.
How much is a portaloo for one week?
A seven-day event hire is three days beyond the four-day minimum. Calculate the flat minimum plus three extra days at the event rate, then add delivery and collection. A week is not included in the event minimum.
A seven-day construction booking still attracts the 28-day construction minimum. Compare the unit and included service as well as the duration; a lower headline price does not establish which product fits the job.

Is delivery included?
Delivery and collection are separate from equipment hire for our delivered toilets. The standard charge applies within the quoted zone around Capalaba, and the exact address and access can change the total. Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast toilet hire is by enquiry only.
The trailer-mounted option is collected and returned by the customer at Capalaba. There is no delivery charge for that pickup-only product, but you need a suitable tow vehicle and equipment.
What about servicing and GST?
Construction hire includes fortnightly servicing. Event and trailer hire do not include ongoing servicing by default; agree any extra pump-outs or cleaning in advance. A sewer-connect toilet does not need routine holding-tank pump-outs, but you arrange plumbing, cleaning and supplies.
Read the GST label beside each price. Short-term event and trailer prices are shown including GST. Construction prices may be shown excluding GST, with the tax included in the final total. Compare quotes on the same basis.
What should a useful quote include?
- The selected unit and quantity, with any eligible multi-unit discount.
- The minimum term, your dates and the rate for extra days.
- GST, delivery and collection, and any agreed additional servicing.
