We lodge the EWR on your behalf so you don't need to deal with Energex directly. Drive time from Capalaba to most Gold Coast suburbs runs 50 to 70 minutes; hinterland sites in Mudgeeraba, Nerang or Maudsland add another 15–30 minutes. Once the pole is installed Energex connects the network within 5–10 business days, then your retailer's meter provider attends a few days later to fit the meter — power flows once that meter is in. The pole complies with the Queensland Electricity Connection Manual; the test tag stays attached as your evidence of compliance for the first 6 months, after which retesting is the hirer's responsibility. We handle the Energex Form 2 EWR lodgement on your behalf so the network connection is locked in within 5–10 business days of installation, and we email you the EWR number the same day for your electricity retailer account setup.
